Edison truck accident injures 1

On Wednesday around 1:00 p.m. in Edison a truck hit a curb on Route 1 and landed on a motor vehicle.

The truck driver was near Prince Street when he tried to switch lanes to avoid slowing down on the road. As he switched lanes he ended up running into a curb, flipping his vehicle. The truck fell on the back half of a car. The driver of the car was not injured in the accident.

The man operating the truck sustained minor head injuries and was taken to a local area  hospital to be treated.
