Judges in Social Security cases face violent threats

Posted on Wednesday, November 24th, 2010 at 11:51 am

Judges in Social Security disability cases are now facing violent threats from angry claimants that were denied benefits.

Over the past year, there were nearly 80 threats to administrative judges and staff from people who were denied benefits or frustrated with the system because they were taking to long.

This information was released by the Social Security Administration and was made available to The Associated Press. Currently, there are more than two million people waiting to see if they are eligible to receive benefits and many will wait up to two years to see their first payment.

If  you or a loved one has not been receiving the Social Security disability benefits that you deserve, contact the New Jersey social security disability lawyers of Levinson and Axelrod by calling 800-34605529 today.
