The pension board of New Jersey denied the claim of a state trooper that was driving the car that was involved in an accident that nearly killed the then-governor.
The trooper is claiming that he now suffers from back pain and post traumatic stress disorder. The trooper was suspended for three days after the accident because he was going 91 mph when the accident occurred. The board denied his claim which would have given him more than 60 percent of his salary. He will no receive 40 percent of his pension and state paid healthcare.
